The SX.1 (Shaft Xchange)
The SX.1 driver is a system, called the Fitt N' Play Tour-Fitting and Playing system. The SX.1 is a 460cc forged head with the proprietary (Soundforged X) face insert and Muscle Crown technology for increased ball speed and silky smooth feel. But the SX.1 was designed to be a rare commodity — a driver that looks beyond the COR and MOI limits — two things that should be a given when designing a driver. With the patent-pending attachment design, you achieve the most versatile driver on the market. Designing the SX.1 to be a playable club was the mission. With the 16-splined CNC-Ti shaft adapter, included weight rings (2 weight options) and set screws (2 weight options), the attachment is an improvement over standard epoxy. With the SX.1, all you need to do is spin the ratchet tool a few times, remove the head from the shaft you want and replace it in the desired loft. Clubfitters instantly can offer more combinations of flex, loft and swingweight with little overhead and minimal space. With four loft options and a couple dozen shafts equipped with a CNC-titanium shaft adapter, you instantly have 48 different drivers all with the option of added swingweight to really dial in the fitting.
