Putters Capture A Top 5 Finish at The Masters
Sanford,
FL - Rife Putters captured a T-5th Place Finish this past
weekend in Augusta, Georgia at The PGA Tour's first Major
of the year. The T-5th Place Finisher fired a 4 day total
of 292 with his Rife Barbados putter and ranked #2 in Putts
Per Round averaging only 1.50 per green in regulation. This
T-5th Place Finish at The Masters earned him $275,500 and
was his third Top 10 Finish of the season. Since switching
to a Rife putter last year the T-5th place finisher has
moved up 85 spots in the World Ranking to #26. He has also
moved up 109 spots to #2 in Putting Average on the PGA Tour.
"The Masters is all about tradition," said Matt
Molloy, President of
Rife Putters. "I hope seeing a Rife putter on top of
the leaderboard
becomes a big part of that tradition in years to come. Last
year we had
a T-3rd Place Finish with the Aussie and this year the Barbados
finished
T-5th and led the 1st two days of the tournament."
All of Rife's Putters, the 2 Bar line, GR6 Series, and
new Island Series
putters, are high-end fully CNC milled putters that offer
the same
patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending LieAline
System.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal
grooved face
putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves
since
1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to
gently press
into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an
instant forward
roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons
help control spin so
do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now
trying to imitate
this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves
is the true key
to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter
technology.
Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest
"no skid" roll
in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
